Verdict
An ascension to the throne of the Mario Kart series. Visually and mechanically fluid, varied and intensely fun. If you like Mario Kart - it’s a cant miss!
Context
Picked up this game as part of the Nintendo Switch 2 bundle. I didn’t go searching for this title and had no idea what to expect from the game. That said I am a massive fan of the Mario kart series and have generally high expectations and hopes for each entry.

- Lacking the “build a kart” feature which I had come to enjoy in Mario Kart 8.
